What Does “A Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams” Even Mean?

Hey you,

Let’s talk about this phrase:

A life beyond your wildest dreams.

People throw it around a lot.

Self-help books. Recovery rooms. Coaching programs.

But what does it actually mean?

For me

It’s not a dream life—it’s a real one.

One where I wake up and don’t dread my day.

Where I know what soothes me, what makes me feel whole. I follow the voice in my heart  rather than the voice of a world that tells me what success is. I can communicate without fear.

That’s what singing taught me.

That’s what writing gave me.

That’s what years of therapy and 12 step recovery helped me discover and then practice.

Living beyond your wildest dreams isn’t always loud.

Sometimes it’s this:

Making a phone call you used to avoid
Asking for what you need, and sitting in the discomfort
Calling a friend to say ‘ I am crazy today’
Saying, “I’m not okay,” and being able to tolerate the discomfort

It’s brave.

It’s the stuff no one claps for—but it changes you.

Creativity wakes up the parts you’ve silenced.

Singing. Writing. Making things.

You get to hear your own voice—maybe for the first time ever.

 It’s not fluff.

It’s freedom

This is the work I live in.

I can’t fix anyone.

I don’t sell confidence in a bottle.

But I have been there. I have wrestled with it all. I walk beside people who are ready to show up differently— Who want a different life to the one they have. Who want to BE different. on stage, in life, in their own minds.

So if “a life beyond your wildest dreams” feels abstract or cheesy or way too big.

Start smaller.  A life beyond your wildest dreams is built one little action at a time. One minute, one hour, one day.

Thanks for reading.

If you want support, I’m here.

Singing lessons. Songwriting. Creative coaching.

It all starts the same way—with a breath, a sound, a bit of curiosity.

You bring you.

I’ll bring me.

Let’s see what’s possible.
